Greetings, I am Mr. Ludwick, your ACT/MME Prep Facilitator and Instructor. I have been teaching for 15 years. My
certifications are in Mathematics, Social Studies and History. I have spent the last four years teaching 11th grade Algebra 2 with many professional developments involving ACT prep and proctoring the exam.
The Class is an elective credit class needed to reach the 22 credits for graduation. The class will be split into a series of lessons and activities based on ACT preparation. Each week will be broken down into an English lesson, a Math lesson, a Reading lesson, a Science lesson and the lesson of focus. Every 3 to 4 weeks a practice ACT test will be administer to the students. November 11-15, December 2-6, and one to be scheduled in January. From November 18 till Thanksgiving will be devoted to Writing portion of the ACT. In between the other test there will be a subject that will be focused on. Reading was the first subject, Science is second, then Writing, English and just before ACT Mathematics. The repeative taking of the Practice ACT test in class is to help familiarize the students to the test and to remove any mystic or nervousness.
The class is graded on a point system.
IDP and Blooms Taxonomies are worth 1 point each.
Homework and classwork are worth 10 points.
Individual Practice ACT tests are worth 100 plus a bonus of score they earned up to 36.
IDP are a paragraph consisting of an identification sentence, three sentences on data and a prediction sentence.
Blooms Taxonomy is a question of the day using Bloom’s Level of Education Taxonomy as the base.
Individual Practice ACT Test include the English, Math, Reading and Science portions of the test given each day during the test week period one test a day except Math which is divided into two 30 minutes session over two days.

One full Mock ACT done in full process in late January early Feburary.
After ACT testing is done, the class will be devoted to college prepardness along the fields of college applications, essay writing, mathematics, vocabulary, and formal knowledge of desired university choices of students.
